Duties

  • Take incoming sales calls
  • Sales order processing
  • Create and distribute quotations using industry standard software
  • Follow up on sales leads both warm and cold
  • Liaise competently with both customers and suppliers
  • Keep accurate records and general administration
  • Take incoming customer service calls
  • Offer troubleshooting advice over the phone
  • Coordinate engineer visits
  • Fully record all case details on our CRM system
  • Manage and track customer feedback
  • Have previous sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Have a confident phone manner
  • Ability to think on ones feet while dealing with customers directly on the phone
  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package and good general computer skills
  • Ability to develop strong product knowledge
  • Ability to develop and nurture positive relationships with customers and suppliers

Also advantageous

  • Catering industry knowledge / experience
  • Experience of Sage / CRM software

Hours of work / location
, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays

  • In person at our headquarters in Sherburn In Elmet, North Yorkshire, close to Selby, York and Leeds.
