General Information
We are looking for talented and fun individuals to lead arts and crafts sessions for Primary aged children at our well established and fantastic Holiday Clubs


We are looking for individuals who are particularly experienced and comfortable leading groups of children in arts, crafts, classroom based activities and general supervision during play.

You should have some experience specifically with the primary age group (4-11 year olds).

Duties;

The role will require you to;

  • Be responsible for groups of children at our holiday camps in South Gloucestershire.
  • Plan and organise a range of stimulating arts & craft activities suitable for children aged between years old.
  • Set up engaging and fun activities / resources allowing children to be creative.
  • Work collaboratively with a small, fun, family orientated team
  • Identify key resources to purchase for the activities.
  • Be able to work in a busy environment independent.
  • Tidy up and pack away after each session.
  • Ensure the arts and craft activities are delivered in a safe and supervised environment

Working Hours -
Monday to Friday (8.30am - 4pm)

Location -
Venues based in South Gloucestershire (Chipping Sodbury, Winterbourne, Longwell Green, Thornbury, Patchway)

Salary
- £7.00 - £12.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications

We are leading providers in delivering P.E teaching, holiday clubs, after school clubs, enrichment services to Primary aged children in schools within Bristol and South Gloucestershire._

Purpose of the role: You will be delivering a range of safe, fun and inclusive holiday clubs and be responsible for:_

  • Engaging and inspiring young children to enjoy and participate in arts and craft activities and act as a positive role model for children to follow._
  • Confidently deliver a wide range of activities. _
  • Follow Swift Sports Coaching and school safeguarding procedures_
  • Manage pupils behaviour at all times_
  • Represent Swift Sports Coaching in a professional manner_
  • Liaise positively and confidently with children, parents/carers and school staff_
  • Excellent communication skills_
  • Prioritise the safety and well being of the young children they work with_
  • Organised and punctual_
  • Can work alone or as part of a team_

- _The post-holder will be required to promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the work place. To include ensuring that the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH, and all other mandatory regulations are adhered to_
