Bio-Rad has an exciting opportunity for a Lab Technician to join one of the world leaders in antibody production at our manufacturing facility in Kidlington, near Oxford, where we specialize in the manufacture of antibodies for the research community.

The successful candidate will be involved in the manufacture and testing of finished products.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Manufacture and QC test Raw Materials and FG following standard manufacturing procedures and following a defined schedule
  • Maintaining and preparing records, reports and documentation
  • Recommending and facilitating basic changes to interdepartmental written procedures
  • Performing assigned tasks in 2 or more areas with process ownership in one area.
  • Guidance of new employees in area procedures
  • Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum A level
  • 1-2 years related experience in similar function or industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform basic preventive maintenance on some equipment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory of finished products.
  • Working knowledge of some manufacturing procedures.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Attention to details and ability to follow instructions-written and verbal.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge and ERP software.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and write reports
