Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team at Blackfield Associates in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art research facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Collaborate with contractors to complete finishing projects and ensure high-quality results.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, providing valuable insights for future improvements.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, with a strong understanding of high-quality finishes.
  • Experience in facility maintenance, particularly in lab environments, with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.

Qualifications:
