We are recruiting a teamof Ultrasound Imaging Assistants who will assist in maintaining the patientenvironment to the highest standard and ensuring patient movement to and fromthe examination rooms is carried out safely, efficiently, and in a dignifiedmanner.

Ultrasound ImagingAssistants will be responsible for chaperoning patients and preparing theclinical room/environment before/between examinations, ensuring that allequipment is clean and to enable an efficient patient flow.

Main duties of the job

Youll support delivery ofour ultrasound clinics across a range of community-based locations acrossSandwell and Birmingham. Youll be responsible for chaperoning patients,preparing/cleaning equipment between patients and completing audits, asrequired.

An essentialrequirement of this role is the ability and willingness to travel betweensites.

Thepostholder(s) will be committed to undertake any other duties commensurate withthe role, within the bounds of their own competence.

Over 15 years of experience of delivering community outpatient services Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals Delivery of over 150,000 patient consultations per year Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week Job description
