Our client, a leading manufacturing operation with sites dotted throughout the UK (predominantly in the north) are going through a major transformation and require a Group HRD to devise and deliver a companywide strategy.

Driving the HR strategy throughout the group, the HRD will emphasise on organisational and cultural change.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define and execute the group's HR strategy
  • Develop and implement the organisational & cultural change required to deliver the strategy
  • Leadership and management of HR teams within various UK locations
  • Ensure that HR teams deliver a commercially efficient, effective and compliant HR service.
  • Lead on a range of projects to improve and transform HR operations
  • Drive a continuous improvement agenda
  • Help to develop, establish and embed long term vision and strategy

Experience and Other Requirements

The role holder must be able to demonstrate:

  • A track record of success driving commercial and cultural within manufacturing operations
  • Effective business transformation skills and demonstrate previous experience of managing significant projects alongside BAU
  • Be able to build relationships and gain credibility at all levels
  • Display strong intellectual capability and presence, with a drive to see things through to successful outcomes
  • Evidence a clear commercial mindset and focus with an entrepreneurial and pragmatic approach
  • Employ a strong ability to challenge and influence senior leaders across the business
  • Deploy strong coaching, mentoring and facilitation skills in order to manage and develop their team
  • Enjoy working within a growing business, with an ability to innovate and introduce operational improvements.
