We have a fantastic opportunity in London for a Head of People to work for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the people & wellbeing strategy with the leadership team, advocating for a peoplefocussed approach
  • Develop and implement scalable processes, policies, and procedures covering all stages of the employee lifecycle
  • Measure employee engagement and report regularly to the leadership team with data and recommendations to support them in building a high performing, collaborative, and engaged teams
  • Outline the learning and development requirements for all employee groups from leadership to technical experts and work with line managers to execute plans
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives and work with leaders to set personal development plans across all teams
  • Advise and support the leadership team and line managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle including disputes, grievances, and performance management
  • Review and provide recommendations to the leadership team on employee offers e.g. salary benchmarking and benefits
  • Lead and manage all aspects of recruitment
  • Oversee new employee onboarding
  • Ensure the smooth running of the office and organise team events
  • Manage payroll/pensions administration, people and office budget, and forecasting
  • Other adhoc duties as deemed reasonable

Person Specification

  • Demonstrable people/HR experience in a scaling business
  • Experience working with leadership teams and senior stakeholders to influence strategy and delivery
  • Experience leading a team of people experts and advisors
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent)
  • Commercially and financially savvy
  • An understanding of how people/office initiatives impact business success
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, industry knowledge, and facilities management
