Domiciliary Care Worker (Runcorn)

A valid UK or international driving license is essential for this role.


Vivid Care Services, a leading care agency in Runcorn, is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Domiciliary Care Workers.

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supporting clients with mobility and transfers, promoting their safety and wellbeing.
  • Administering medication in accordance with care plans and medication management guidelines.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  • Providing companionship, engaging in meaningful conversations, and promoting social interaction.
  • Completing accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Requirements:

  • Valid License
    :A valid UK or international driving license is essential for this role
Experience:

Prior experience in the care sector is desirable but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.

  • Compassion: Demonstrated empathy, patience, and understanding towards individuals with varying needs.
  • Reliability: Punctuality and commitment to providing consistent care to clients.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, their families, and the wider care team.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work on a shift basis, including weekends and evenings.
  • Eligibility: The right to work in the UK.
