Your Role

You'll have the opportunity to get involved in an interesting and diverse caseload, right from the beginning you'll play a key part in securing justice for our clients and making a real difference in their lives. Given the nature of the work, you'll work with vulnerable clients, and your role will be highly rewarding, but you'll have to be resilient and calm whilst also putting your client's needs first at all times.

You can expect to manage your own caseload, more specifically, leading the investigation and litigation on complex cases, take instructions from clients and provide quality legal advice, including obtaining evidence and, where appropriate, pursuing litigation, to achieve appropriate resolutions for the clients. You will develop relationships with nurses, other medical professionals and victim support groups to provide an exceptional client experience, generate new cases and you will also have the opportunity to assist the Partners and senior team members on high value cases to further develop your skillset.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive who has a clear enthusiasm for this area of law and a commitment to securing the best outcomes for our clients whilst working under pressure, you should operate with empathy and integrity and most importantly be able to demonstrate the following qualities;

An aptitude for business development and a passion for growing strong clients and referrer relationships Demonstratable technical experience gained within Personal Injury multi-track litigation, ideally in Asbestos Related Disease experience Proven experience handling your own caseload (including your own litigated cases), whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail and seamless service; The ability to operate independently and as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and develop other team members; Demonstrable experience of excellent oral and written communication skills, including, producing quality drafting and undertaking in-depth research to assist with client matters What we can offer you Flexible working options - Make work fit around your life, not the other way round 25 days holidays as standard - You can 'buy' up to 35hrs of extra holiday too Generous and flexible pension schemes Volunteering days – Two days of volunteering every year for a cause of your choice (fully paid) Westfield Health membership, offering refunds on medical services alongside our Aviva Digital GP services, as well as Private Medical Insurance
