We are a seven-doctor practice with excellent nursing and admin teams and are a member of Central Bournemouth Network. We are a training practice working from two sites and received a "Good" rating in our last CQC inspection.


The main purpose of this role is to provide an efficient administrative service to patients and their representatives, within the confines of safe and compliant data protection processes.


Main duties include:

  • Logging incoming requests for medical reports and for copies of records.
  • Acknowledging receipt of requests.
  • Invoicing for payment for chargeable services, including negotiation of payment if the requestor is offering a fixed fee that does not cover costs. Reconciliation of payments received.
  • Processing requests in a timely manner, following strict practice protocols.
  • Copying and printing as required.
  • Thorough checking and redaction of thirdparty or other information from records in line with practice protocols and/or at the direction of a clinician.
  • Preparing reports and copies for posting or collection.
  • Posting of reports and copies via Recorded Delivery / Post office visit.
  • Dealing with enquiries from requestors or patients where relevant.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary:
From £10.42 per hour
