A very friendly and down to earth British family are looking for an experienced and friendly housekeeper to help look after their home.

They live in a 5-bedroom house over 3 floors with an indoor and outdoor pool complex, kitchen, dining room, snug, family room, playroom, pet area and separate utility room.

They have twins of 5 and Mum does the childcare. They also have a large dog and 3 outdoor cats that have limited access to the house.

  • General Housekeeping to a high standard
  • All laundry/ironing including changing bedsheets.
  • Cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms
  • Preparation of guest bedrooms
  • Vacuuming
  • Keeping drawers, cupboards, and wardrobes tidy/organised.
  • Cleaning of floors and polishing furniture
  • Periodical deep cleans.
  • Cooking Asian style and British Family style food
  • Preparing shopping list for items needed in the house.
  • Always keeping the kitchen clean and pantry organised and well stocked
  • Loading/unloading dishwasher.
  • Cleaning up the dishes and utensils after cooking
  • Basic sewing (nametags on school uniforms, minor repairs etc.)
  • Walking the dog as and when required
  • Feeding pets as and when required
  • Organising and dealing with tradesmen as required


It is essential that you are an experienced housekeeper who has worked in a private house in a similar role.

You must have a clean DBS check and be able to cook to a reasonable standard. You must also have checkable written references. You may be required to house sit when the client travels by arrangement. You can also earn extra money babysitting.

Days of Work and Salary

  • 10am 6pm for 4 weekdays
  • 7am 11am on a Saturday morning
  • Saturday afternoon until Tuesday morning off
- £42K gross annual salary with a contract and Tax and NI paid

  • Accommodation: Separate from the house. Small one bed studio, including a King Tv-Bed, a kitchenette, and a small lounge area with a sofa, decent sized bathroom with a walkin shower and under floor heating
  • Mid-October start but will wait for the right person

Salary:
Up to £42,000.00 per year
