Essential:
Advise on options and solutions to highway engineering design matters, prepare works information and project manage the successful implementation of the preferred solution.nPrepare concept design work packages for speculative bid funding applications quickly and effectively, identifying and quantifying likely costs from outline design to project completion.nManage the review of external technical submissions and proposals and liaise with designers to resolve issues.nLead on and support others in the financial management of schemes from inception to completion.nLead, manage and direct a team of professional and technical staff to meet objectives.nLine manage staff and contractors and lead / manage and sign off designnIEng or CEng QualificationnEligibility to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.nCompetency in the use of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, Manual for Streets and other local authority standardsnKnowledge of responsibilities under the CDM Regulations.
