The Product Team at Viator Platform is in search of a skilled Principal Product Manager to join us in positioning Viator as a key player in the Experiences ecosystem. The goal is to tackle industry challenges by developing unparalleled capabilities and harnessing the problem-solving potential of an open ecosystem through robust APIs.

You will become part of a lively and motivated team where you can have an immediate impact and advance in your product management career.

In this position, you will focus on enhancing inventory management on our platform, rather than just catering to one customer group, by creating an ecosystem that fosters value creation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving initiatives on pricing and availability within inventory management
  • Developing new features or improving existing products to support business growth and revenue targets
  • Establishing success metrics and KPIs, and monitoring product performance for necessary enhancements
  • Collaborating with engineering, marketing, legal, and other teams on innovative technologies

Successful candidates should have experience in:

  • Partnering with engineering teams to build extensive API systems and frameworks
  • Breaking down platform solutions into manageable milestones for rapid value creation
  • Understanding API technologies and technical governance
  • Engaging with various perspectives and prioritizing solutions based on stakeholder needs
  • Utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to comprehend customer requirements
  • Having coding or software development background, and experience with databases and data science

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business-related field
