We have a new opportunity for an experienced Programme Delivery Manager to join our team in Finchampstead. The purpose of the role is to manage a portfolio of electrical distribution projects within SSEN Lot 2 Framework.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To Oversee all aspects of civils, jointing, electrical installation, overhead line and commissioning works.
  • Take full ownership of projects from receipt to completion including supporting estimators and design if applicable.
  • Managing to client's timeline and ensuring the compliant, safe and sustainable delivery projects within the portfolio.


 Producing project folders
  • Ensuring the completion of all requested project data as set out under each Call off Contract.
  • Attending sites to manage site team on electrical installation requirements and ascertain works scope and resource requirement.
  • Working closely with Planning department to schedule activities to the required dates.
  • Working with commercial to ensure timely, robust and accurate management of change.
  • Accurately updating all work management systems and trackers, progressing jobs through each stage of construction.
  • Producing necessary Planned Supply Interruptions in line with network requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance working relationships with key contacts across the project

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience within the electrical distribution sector and an understanding of installation construction requirements is essential.
  • Experience dealing with medium size + construction sites.
  • Experience managing schemes falling under CDM regulations.
  • Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal & Organisational Skills.
  • The ability to manage and prioritise own workload, taking into account your own objectives and those of the wider team.

Qualifications

  • IOSH Managing Safety.
  • Project Management (Prince2 or similar).
  • Current, or expired, DNO authorisation
  • SSE or other.
  • NRSWA Supervisor accreditation.
