Your new company
The post holder will provide administration support to Staffordshire Police's Senior Management and to the Business Support Team which forms part of the Business Support team based within the Corporate Development Department.
Your new role
- To provide diary management to the Senior Management Teams
- To provide meeting cover and support.
- To book and organise internal & external training and conferences
- To organise and secure conference rooms and ensure all catering requirements are completed
- To maintain wellorganised files and records for all business areas
- To maintain computer databases and ensure these are kept up to date
- To engage with internal and external colleagues on behalf of the Senior Management Teams both via the phone or in person
- To take phone messages accurately and communicate these appropriately
- To make travel arrangements and any associated accommodation requirements for the Senior Management Team
- To prepare and collate printed documents/packs for meetings
- To draft and edit correspondence as directed by the Business Support Team
- To manage the collection and sorting of post
- To raise purchase order numbers and to order office stationery and other supplies
- Any other administrative tasks that are required as directed by the Business Support Team
What you'll need to succeed:
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel & Word) Utilise the full functionality of Microsoft Office or equivalent
- Experience of diary management and office admin skills
- Ability to organise events and travel arrangements
- Ability to take minutes at meetings
**Full time role
Up to £11 an hour
