We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified trainer/assessor to support us in delivering our Retrofit (insulation and ventilation) training schemes which form part of our portfolio of Retrofit courses.


The Role


Our learners have mixed abilities and experience and we are looking for someone who can ensure the very best outcomes for all.

The training is designed so that the learners are active and developing skills that may help them gain employment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Have relevant vocational experience.
-
Have tutor/trainer experience.
-
Provide ongoing support to all learners.
-
Have a flexible approach to meet delivery of objectives.
-
Prepare teaching and workshop environments for learners and observe good housekeeping at all times.

Provide skills training in insulation
Internal wall, cavity wall, loft and ventilation.-
Teach the correct and safe use of hand tools, power tools and equipment.
-
Teach safe use of working at heights where appropriate.
-
Keep track of all tools and equipment
-
Be confident, approachable and inspire learners.
-
Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Have good administration skills - record and manage the learner journey from enrolment to workshop practice and satisfaction surveys.

Liaise effectively with colleagues and provide timely course report completions.

Implement outstanding health and safety practices at all times.
-
Possesses a current DBS.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 weeks

Salary:
£215.00 per day
