**Job Purpose**
Ø Working with a team of trainers on projects supporting newly unemployed individuals. All courses are taught face-to-face.
Ø Efficient in time management and demonstrate effective planning and organising skills to ensure all tasks are completed in time.
Ø Demonstrate a willingness to learn and motivate others to develop/grow industry-specific knowledge and skills.
Ø Confidently support customers and enable them to feel more empowered & strengthened.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Customer Support**
Ø Designing and delivering accredited Employability and Customer Service courses.
Ø Have a flexible approach to learning and adjust style of delivery to have minimum 100% engagement rate with learners. High levels of engagement required.
**Contractual Ability**
Ø Be commercially aware and understand contractual requirements and be willing to adjust delivery to ensure requirements are being met.
**Participant Support**
Ø Provide participants with quality constructive feedback that allows them to improve and prepare for the dynamic work environment.
Ø Provide support to the participants to enable them to sustain employment through good practice and overcome any foreseen barriers.
Ø Promote company's vision of equal opportunities and values.
**Key Skills Required**
Ø Effectively teach and assess Employability and Customer Service learners' skills.
Ø Establish and maintain a rapport with learners and customise your teaching approach as appropriate.
Ø Maintain a high level of communication with learners to maximise retention.
Ø Invigilate functional skills exams and other assessment activity.
Ø To support and provide administration support when required.
Ø Ensure learners achieve qualification within timeframe set on contract.
Ø Ability to carry out the duties of the job with reasonable adjustments when necessary.
Ø Ability to seek out solutions to problems and creatively reinforce learning.
Ø Strong training delivery, time management, planning and organisational skills.
Ø High level of initiative and motivation to drive learning.
Ø Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ø Capacity to adapt and innovate, when necessary to stimulate learning and provide learning opportunity to learners.
Ø Be commercially aware and understand contractual requirements and be willing to adjust delivery to ensure requirements are being met.
Ø Be proficient in basic computer skills and use of Microsoft Office.
Ø You must have a teaching qualification and a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
Ø Experience of delivering accredited Employability and Customer Service courses is essential.
Ø Identifying and supporting individual learning needs.
Ø Experience of working with learners with additional learning needs.
Ø Experience of remote delivery and teaching / virtual learning environments
Ø Have a flexible approach to learning and adjust style of delivery to have minimum 90% engagement rate with learners.
Ø You must have a teaching qualification and a minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
