DESCRIPTION

We are currently expanding our dedicated Greenkeeping team and have an exciting opportunity for a
Seasonal Greenkeeper who will have a vital role in ensuring our golf course is maintained to a championship standard.

The role will be on a fixed term contract from May - September.

The Mere Golf Resort & Spa is a destination for business and pleasure, with an 81 bedroomed hotel, expansive wedding and event spaces, Championship golf course and an award-winning spa, set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.


Requirements:

  • Experience in greenkeeping or horticulture preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Enthusiastic and selfmotivated
  • Good communication skills
  • Good work ethic and a team player
  • A desire to work in an outdoor environment

Duties will include:

  • Daily turf maintenance and preparation to high standards
  • To achieve a high level of attention to detail in all tasks undertaken
  • To communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, members and guests
  • To always maintain healthy and safe working practices
  • Good time management
