Capstone has teamed up with a renowned construction company known for its excellence in delivering diverse projects in commercial, residential, arts and heritage, hospitality, and infrastructure sectors. Working with top clients like British Land, Argent, and Grosvenor, our client is committed to providing top-notch service on every project. We're on the lookout for a proactive Project Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will take on a leadership role in overseeing high-value construction projects, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards within set timelines and budgets. The Project Director will play a key role in steering project success through outstanding leadership, teamwork, and a focus on continual enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the planning, coordination, and execution of high-value construction projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards and client requirements.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders to guarantee successful project completion.
  • Offer strategic direction and support to project teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, responsibility, and creativity.
  • Effectively manage project risks, issues, and changes by implementing suitable mitigation strategies.
  • Track project performance and progress, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Coordinate the bidding process for all projects efficiently.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management and clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and supervise the legal proceedings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory guidelines to drive continual improvement and creativity in project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful management and delivery of high-value construction projects across various sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills with a team-based and results-driven problem-solving approach.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
