Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team.

As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care, guidance, and emotional support to children residing in our residential facility.


Responsibilities:

Individualized Support: Tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each child, considering their specific challenges related to EBD, ADHD, and Autism.

Behavior Management: Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors, promote positive interactions, and create a structured environment.
-
Therapeutic Interventions: Collaborate with therapists and other professionals to support therapeutic interventions and individualized care plans.
-
Daily Care: Assist with daily routines, including medication administration, sensory regulation, and promoting independence.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of behavioral incidents, progress, and communication with external agencies.

Qualifications and Experience:

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) preferred.

  • Experience working with children with EBD, ADHD, and Autism.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic approaches and behavior management techniques.

Job Types:

Pay:
From £14.52 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 37 per week

Experience:

Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
