Job Purpose
FRC Group is on a mission to End Furniture Poverty.

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant who has a flair for creative content and is passionate about all things social media.


Primarily responsible for marketing group products, services and industry news, the Digital Marketing Assistant will create engaging digital content for social media and help build and implement the annual marketing plan.

From graphics and digital brochures to market research, boosting brand awareness and creating engaging social media posts to get our customers talking, this is a role with creativity at its core.


Working across FRC Group brands (Furniture Resource Centre, FRC Living, Buckingham Interiors, Bulky Bob's Liverpool and Oldham) this role will also involve basic administration tasks.


Key Responsibilities

General Marketing and Administration

  • Create engaging social media posts across all group brands in line with brand guidelines utilising Adobe creative suite, Canva etc
  • Create branded brochures to highlight products and services
  • Liaise with Business Development reps to create floor plans tailored to customer needs
  • Monitor and respond to social media activity and customer queries via social media platforms
  • Assist with creating data lists
  • Updating brand guidelines
  • Liaising with third party partners to order printed promotional materials
  • Basic photography and videography
  • Ensuring all health and safety documentation is filed ahead of events and promotional shoots.
  • Assist with creative internal communication. Staff photos, filming inhouse events, editing video.
  • Maintain the group image library, ensuring images are easily accessible to be used in presentations.
All other admin support duties as required by the Head of Marketing and Senior Marketing Executive.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Creative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, Capcut etc
  • Proficient with all social media platforms and best practice for posting engaging content
  • Proficient with digital photography
  • Proficient with video editing
  • Experience of Wordpress
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently

Desirable:

  • Understanding of SEO and PPC principles and exposure to Google Ads software
  • Experience of inperson events/conferences
  • Previous charity work
  • Portfolio of previous creative digital work

Knowledge:
