Commercial Manager
The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of labour, materials, and equipment for passive fire protection projects.
They will work closely with the sales, project management, and operations teams to ensure competitive and profitable bid proposals.Analyse and interpret project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and ensure comprehensive coverage of all project requirements.
- Work with the Account Manager to manage opportunities and help set client expectations.
- Work with the Contracts Manager to assess project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends, technologies, and fire protection solutions.
- Strong understanding of fire protection systems and materials.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimation software.
- Officebased role with occasional site visits. Working hours Monday-Friday 8am4pm.
