Kenna Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to support a strong team of commercial staff on Residential New Build schemes in South East London. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, and proven experience in the construction industry. Key responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates, conducting feasibility studies, and monitoring project costs. The successful candidate will also have strong knowledge of cost estimation and financial reporting, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite. **Responsibilities:**

* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
* Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects.
* Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle, ensuring adherence to budgets.
* Prepare tender documentation and manage the tendering process.
* Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies for cost-related risks.
* Negotiate contracts and payment arrangements with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Evaluate and process project variation orders and claims.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of cost estimation and financial reporting.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on cost assessments.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
