THE COMPANY:
The council provides a large number of services for local people, businesses and visitors to the borough, including services for children and adults, and environmental, cultural, sports, housing, planning and benefits services.
With a workforce of about 6121 staff, including schools, Croydon Council is one of the largest employers in the borough.
THE ROLE:
Fixed Term - 6 months
The role includes
- Administering the Billing, Collection and Recovery of Council Tax Promoting and directing our residents to our online services
- Liaising with external companies such as Enforcement Agents Dealing with enquiries by telephone, and written correspondence on all queries related to
- Council Tax Northgate ICT system is preferable but not essential

THE CANDIDATE:
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A good standard of numerical ability.
- Computer literate with good keyboard skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team with a flexible approach
OTHER INFORMATION:
This 5-day pre-employment training pathway for local Croydon residents. It has been designed in collaboration with CALAT.
On successful completion of this 5-day training, you will be offered a guaranteed interview for the role of Revenue Officer for Croydon Council.
