ITSupport Engineer

As an IT SupportEngineer at Rovco you will play a crucial role in deliveringexceptional technical support to our internal stakeholders.Reporting to our IT Manager in Bristol you will be joining an ITSupport team of 4; You will be the first point of contact forITrelated issues and will provide prompt and effective solutions toensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity for users in ahybrid environment.   • Proven experience as a 1st/2ndLine Support Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows device managementincluding Active Directory
  • Familiarity withMicrosoft Office Suite and other common business applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts(TCP/IP DNS DHCP etc.).
  • Excellentproblemsolving and communication skills.
  • Customeroriented with a patient and positiveattitude.
  • Willingness to travel and visitvessels as required for mobilization (Average of once every 6 weeksnational and international travel required).
  • Ability to work independently to resolveissues.
  • Good understanding of escalationprocedures.

  • Knowledge ofUbuntu operating system management.
  • Experienceworking in a small team environment with fastpacedrequirements.
  • Knowledge of supportingVirtualisation and VDI technologies.
  • Specificknowledge of the following software tools: Microsoft IntuneNinjaOne RMM ConnectWise Freshservice.
  • Experience supporting Hybrid users in aworkfromhome environment.
  • Knowledge ofscripting environments (PowerShell andBash).
