Optyco Opticians and Laser eye surgery clinic is a proud provider of eye care based in Leicester city centre.

As a growing business we are looking for someone to join our team as an optical assistant and receptionist role managing patients day to day.

The role of an Optical Assistant/Optical receptionist within Optyco offers you far more than just a job in retail, giving you more responsibility, training and the real chance of career progression.

The role at Optyco is to take a patient through their eyecare journey, whether they purchase glasses, contact lenses or Laser Eye Surgery, by delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

Part of that journey will involve building rapport and having the ability to identify the needs of the customer, and in doing so, meeting their expectation when purchasing glasses, contact lenses or laser eye surgery.

We are looking for applicants who can provide a high level of customer service, strong organisational and communication skills and the ability to work closely with patients.

Experience in Optical job not necessary as full training is provided. Retail/face to face experience with customers is required.

Part time vacancy, flexibility with occasional holiday cover required.

Pay scale; Minimum Wage

The job role requires the following duties;
Booking appointments

Filing and inputting data on spreadsheets

Ability to use Microsoft office

Personal qualities;
Friendly

confident

Professional and courteous

Qualification and experience required;
GCSE in Maths and English and a minimum of 1 year in customer service.
