Well, we all know that part-time roles in HR are rare and this one is one that you really don't want tomiss out on

We are supporting a brilliant client as they are looking for their first ever HR person.

Don't worry though, you don't need to set up the whole function and processes from scratch, because the team has already done some fantastic work on this.

They want someone to come in and really strengthen the culture in the company, bringing all the values to life

Although you will be the first HR professional to join them, there are future plans to grow and expand as a team.

Don't worry, whilst this may sound like a standalone role, in reality you will be surrounded by colleagues that are always ready to assist and"jumpin".


Your new responsibilities:


As a HR Advisor, you will act as the "glue" in the business, reporting into the CEO and the Senior Management Team.


You will work closely with the Executive Team in creating and implementing a People & Culture strategy, ensuring that the company's values are integrated in everything that they do.


You will work on L&D initiatives and alongside managers to develop and upskill people, and work on aligning this to the business strategy.

You will prepare and deliver relevant training materials, HR guides and "HowTo's", you will review and update policiesand procedures, will advise and lead on ER matters, absence and will also support the recruitment process from start to finish (liaising with agencies when required, assisting with shortlisting and interviewing, making the final offer and ensuring the startersare settled in the business).


In terms of employee benefits, you will work with the Executive Team in providing these and also ensuring that they remain competitive.


What we are looking for:


We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role, in which driving the culture piece was an important aspect.

Experience in rolling out L&D and apprenticeship schemes and delivering training will also be beneficial.

Ideally, you will have Level 5 CIPD qualification, or will be working towards it.


You will be experienced in generating reports and analysing data, being able to identify future improvements and things that can be done in a better way.

You will join a small and collaborative team and this is why we are really looking for the right person - someone with great personality, drive, passion for HR and people, and new ideas


The client is open to the pattern of working hours dependent upon the successful individual, so they are happy to consider what schedule would work best for you.
