Senior Analyst/Associate (Corporate Finance) role

Opportunity

  • London Bridge Capital is looking to hire an enthusiastic individual, preferably with prior experience in the infrastructure sector at the Senior Analyst/Associate level to support the origination and execution of equity and debt transactions for energy and infrastructure corporate clients and/or financial sponsors
  • This is a role well suited to someone looking to join a small but experienced team in a growing Firm, with a desire to have a meaningful and tangible impact on the success of a business
  • An opportunity to engage with both clients at the C-Suite level and global infrastructure investors

Your role

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing marketing materials for clean energy, infrastructure and utility opportunities within the UK and Europe
  • Day-to-day contribution to project execution alongside the Managing Director
  • Day-to-day management of workflows, and analysis to highest standards, supported by the Managing Director, including sector and client research and database management
  • Assist with all facets of the execution of transactions e.g. complex financial modelling, engagement materials (presentations), due diligence, transaction documentation, and coordination of all other internal deal related processes
  • Maintain strong regulatory and risk management skills operating within the authorised framework of the Firm by The Financial Conduct Authority

Candidate Profile/ Key Skills

The successful applicant will be a self-starter, highly motivated and have a strong analytical mind-set, with an excellent attention for detail while, at the same time being a confident communicator. The candidate should be comfortable working in a relatively small entrepreneurial environment, be curious to learn and able to grasp new concepts quickly and incisively. It is essential the candidate can demonstrate market presence and have a proven track record in corporate finance origination and execution.

Essential professional skills for the role:

  • 1-3 years of experience in M&A/Corporate Finance/Project Finance
  • Relevant deal experience gained from any of the following sectors (Infrastructure, Power & Utilities or Renewables)
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory models
  • Strong Excel skills and financial modelling experience are essential to develop complex financial models
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to prepare written presentations to a high standard, using Word and PowerPoint
  • Accurate and reliable work production with rigorous attention to detail

The following skills/experience would also be beneficial:

  • CFA/ACA
  • Modelling qualifications/ courses
  • Relationships with both infrastructure clients and investors

  • Location: London (hybrid)
  • Remuneration: competitive for a Senior Analyst/ Associate position, based on both fixed compensation and bonus potential dependent on the company's results
