Your role
Key Functions and Responsibilities:
nPreparing marketing materials for clean energy, infrastructure and utility opportunities within the UK and EuropenDay-to-day contribution to project execution alongside the Managing DirectornDay-to-day management of workflows, and analysis to highest standards, supported by the Managing Director, including sector and client research and database managementnAssist with all facets of the execution of transactions e.g.
complex financial modelling, engagement materials (presentations), due diligence, transaction documentation, and coordination of all other internal deal related processesnMaintain strong regulatory and risk management skills operating within the authorised framework of the Firm by The Financial Conduct AuthorityCandidate Profile/ Key Skills
The successful applicant will be a self-starter, highly motivated and have a strong analytical mind-set, with an excellent attention for detail while, at the same time being a confident communicator.
The candidate should be comfortable working in a relatively small entrepreneurial environment, be curious to learn and able to grasp new concepts quickly and incisively.
It is essential the candidate can demonstrate market presence and have a proven track record in corporate finance origination and execution.
Essential professional skills for the role:n1-3 years of experience in M&A/Corporate Finance/Project FinancenRelevant deal experience gained from any of the following sectors (Infrastructure, Power & Utilities or Renewables)nExcellent understanding of regulatory modelsnStrong Excel skills and financial modelling experience are essential to develop complex financial modelsnExcellent verbal and written communication skillsnAble to prepare written presentations to a high standard, using Word and PowerPointnAccurate and reliable work production with rigorous attention to detailThe following skills/experience would also be beneficial:nCFA/ACAnModelling qualifications/ coursesnRelationships with both infrastructure clients and investors
