Vision for Education are working closely with a Primary School in the BD5 area of Bradford who require a Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 5 class.

The role is full time until the end of the academic year with the possibility of going permanent for the new academic year.


About the role:

  • Working within a Year 5 class supporting the class teacher
  • 1:1 and small group work
  • Setting up the class room and tidying up afterwards
  • Lunch time duties

You will be working in a lovely 2 form entry Primary School in the BD5 area who foster a culture of respect that empowers their pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.


Requirements:

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:

  • Experience within KS
  • Some SEN experience preferred
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults and communicate at all levels
  • Ability to deal effectively with students presenting challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques as appropriate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
