They are currently in search of a dedicated Associate Director of Estate Management and Valuation to join their team. The Role:

As the Associate Director of Estate Management and Valuation, you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of 10, including 9 professional surveyors and 1 graduate surveyor.
  • Handle a wide range of General Practice (GP) Estate Management tasks such as Landlord & Tenant (L&T) matters, asset valuation, leasing, disposals, and compulsory purchase orders (CPO).
  • Support senior management in supervising property and professional technical staff.
  • Assist the Director of Estates and Valuation in marketing, business development, and preparing tenders and fee proposals.
  • Provide exceptional leadership, ensuring effective day-to-day management and strong team performance.

About You:

We are seeking a motivated and inspiring General Practice Surveyor with significant experience in estate management and valuation, preferably in the private or public sector. You should have a proven record in team leadership and management.

Requirements:

  • Professional Chartered Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  • Preferably, a RICS Registered Valuer with expertise in conducting Local Authority Asset Valuations compliant with RICS, CIPFA, and IFRS standards.
  • Knowledge and background in the Law of Compulsory Purchase, the Land Compensation Act, and negotiating or acquiring land via compulsory purchase.
  • Excellent team leadership and management abilities.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging and negotiating with individuals at all levels.
