Description
They key responsibilities of the FP&A Analyst include:
- Producing meaningful insight and analysis on monthly operational reports & KPI's
- Weekly and monthly business trend analysis
- Supporting with pivotal business projects, including future acquisitions, stock movements and investments
- Producing reports on business trends and stock margin analysis
- Assisting with ongoing marketing strategies to support slow moving or high margin stock
- Business partner with various departments to support with adhoc analysis or reporting initiatives
- Adhoc assistance to operational finance team where required
Profile
The successful FP&A Analyst will have:
- A recent and relevant degree 2:1 or above
- Studying or desire to study further finance qualifications ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Very high attention to detail and knowledge of Excel
- Capable understanding relevant data and confidence to communicate with nonfinancial personnel
- Accuracy and attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work to tight timescales are critical attributes
- Demonstrating an ethic of delivering high performance through hard work, commitment and teamwork
- Flexibility to cover other department tasks or assist as required
