What you'll achieve:

The Principal Network Administrator to deliver technical solutions in our highly regulated environments. This role requires technical expertise in networking with the ability to mentor and guide other team members.

This is a highly collaborative role that involves interfacing with Engineering, IT and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) teams to deliver upon business outcomes.


Essential Duties

  • Responsible for engineering, security, configuration, installation and administration of network components.
  • Major contributor to the implementation, support, and maintenance of production datacentres.
  • Provide technical implementation expertise against security compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, PCI3DS, ISO 27001/
  • Manage all Cisco products (Router, Firewall, Switch), Palo Alto, F
  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address issues to guarantee mínimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance to members of other technical teams.
  • Author technical documentation such as systems and data center diagrams.
  • Advise department team members on procedures, techniques, and requirements to ensure maximum performance and availability of the company infrastructure. Recommend areas for improvement in both processes and systems.
  • Provide specialized technical expertise in researching and resolving complex technology infrastructure problems, which may involve coordination of hardware and software vendor support.
  • Support data center facility/services and proactively monitor the health of all systems located at the data centers and take appropriate action when required. Performs afterhours systems support, installation, and maintenance as required.
  • Respond to networkrelated incidents and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize service disruptions.

Desired Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related major; or equivalent job experience.
  • 10+ years network administration experience.
  • Solid understanding of MPLS, BGP, TCP, IPsec VPN, DNS, TLS/SSL Certificates, ACL, NAT/PAT, GRE.
  • Industry certification: Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, NetApp, Cisco.
  • Working knowledge of major vendor (Palo Alto, F5, etc.) equipment.
  • Certification in Azure Infrastructure (advantage)
  • Ability to prepare cost and time estimates to support networking projects and understanding of network firewalls and security concepts.
  • Wireshark (advantage).
  • Ability to lead, influence, motivate and direct a workgroup to achieve results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal skills, with the ability to create and maintain strong relationships with members of crossdepartmental teams and department team members.
  • Ability to effectively lead companywide projects and / or deliverables.
