FR Consultants (FRC) is the UK's leading fire safety and façade-risk consultancy providing a comprehensive service for complete legislation compliance. Our expert teams are specialists in external wall surveys in accordance with PAS 9980:2022, the external wall system (EWS1) process, internal compartmentation and intrusive Type 2 & 4 fire risk assessments. FRC services cover investigations and reporting, including advising on construction plans for new build projects, structural integrity, material properties and combustibility risks along with building owner's legal obligations. We are based in Hampshire, south-east England, and have countrywide capability to undertake projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting senior staff in the preparation of tender and contract documents
  • Negotiating with clients and contractors, and cost control and planning.
  • Additionally, you will assist with project completion reports and providing solutions to delays, deviations, and other problems that arise during construction

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant discipline would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under supervision while developing your surveying skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • A willingness to learn and progress, as well as to help develop your team and the business as a whole.
