Introduction


SaleCycle is looking for an experienced Product Designer with an understanding of all aspects of product design from user journey mapping, creation of early ideas and wireframes to prototyping user interfaces whilst working with the product delivery teams from inception of a feature through to the release.


Working in the Product Team alongside our current Product Designer, you will be involved in all aspects of the product design process, with a particular focus on UI.

This is all with the aim of delivering something which is truly of value to our users.

What you will do

Participate in user research to better understand user needs.

Produce polished, high fidelity UI components and designs using Figma

Drive innovative outcomes that bring clarity to complex problems in close communication with multi-disciplined product delivery teams

Collaborate and communicate effectively to our users and to the wider business

Be a voice for our users and best practice UI design within the product team and the product delivery teams

Champion usability and accessibility improvements in our managed service tooling

Share responsibility for the user experience and accessibility of our platform MySaleCycle

Requirements for the Role

At least 4 years experience in UI / Interaction design

Strong working knowledge of Figma

A strong background and understanding of product design disciplines across both UX and UI (discovery, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, accessibility, design system evolution), with a passion to focus on UI

Experienced working closely with other designers, product managers, and software engineers, ideally in a multidisciplinary team environment

Experienced working with various areas of a design system (e.g., pattern libraries, style guides, documentation, storybook component libraries, etc)

A portfolio of existing work providing case studies that showcase your experience and your design approach

Ability to demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, staying up to date with emerging technologies

It would be great if you have

Experience working within a distributed design and product team

Experience bringing Figma prototypes to life with animated component variants and transitions

A keen interest in the martech industry

An interest in data visualisation and data delivery

Knowledge of front-end development practices will prove to be an advantage when communicating with multidisciplinary teams

We use Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence and JSM) as a way of managing and supporting the product delivery process

Most of our product delivery teams work in an agile environment
