Job Description- Work with JLRs CAE teams to understand modeling and simulation practices
- Acquire product knowledge and consider design constraints when developing solutions
- Identify opportunities to replace physical testing with virtual methods
- Collaborate with third-party CAE tool providers to enhance capabilities
- Automate CAE workflows to increase efficiency
- Develop tools and techniques to improve quality and robustness of virtual models
- Mentor and train junior team members and graduates
What You'll Need:
- Demonstrable experience in modeling and simulation to solve engineering problems
- Experience with CAE tools like MATLAB/Simulink, CarMaker, Simpack
- Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python, C, C++, or MATLAB
- Background in solving complex technical challenges
- Degree in relevant field preferred
