Digital Marketing Specialist - Contractor/Freelancer - UK & France

We're looking for an experienced Digital Marketing expert to become a key part of the PunchUp team, helping to manage and deliver growth to our international clients across the UK, France and Portugal.

PunchUp is an exciting Growth Marketing Agency, founded in 2020, doubling in the number of clients every year since then, and we've only just started. For this reason, we're looking for eager and passionate people to help us move even faster

We're proposing an initial freelancer contract of 3-6 months, with full flexibility but a minimum agreement of 3 days per week. The job is fully-remote but we'll give preference to candidates located around London, UK or the South West France (Landes/Pays Basque) as in-person meetings one or two times per month are important for us.

The goal is to then transform it into a permanent full-time role, based on performance, if interesting for both sides.

The role:

You'll be immediately immersed in several projects with current and any new clients across the UK and France, ideally able to manage all of the following:

  • Project and Client management in SEO and PPC/Ads (Google + Meta + LinkedIn)
  • Help create bespoke strategies and build proposals and presentations
  • Develop, implement and manage effective PPC campaigns
  • Conduct SEO audits and implement SEO strategies
  • Conduct PPC audits and implement PPC strategies
  • Copywriting on specific topics (without ChatGPT) and with a clear understanding of the best practices for SEO
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO and campaign performance using industry tools (Google Analytics, ahrefs, Search Console, etc...)
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance client's website conversions and overall digital marketing effectiveness.

Who we're looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in SEO and PPC
  • Strong customer communication and management skills
  • Fluent in English and French; Portuguese is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A true team player, with ability to work effectively independently but always in sync with the team.
  • Curious mind: we don't need someone that knows it all already but if you don't, we expect you to be able to work on building your knowledge and confidence (and consider that as personal growth time of course, not working hours).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the capability to work remotely and meet face-to-face as required.
