Due to maternity leave, Baxter is looking for a Network Planner to join on a 12 month FTC. This role can be based at our Thetford site or working from home.

Standard hours are Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00 however we are able to offer flexibility If you wish to work different hours.


Reporting to the EMEA TPP Team Leader, you will be accountable for the end-to-end planning of a specified supply chain network.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the procurement planning, purchasing, inventory management of a portfolio of finished goods.
  • Formulate & communicate short to midterm tactical plans that balance supply & demand
  • Manage regional purchase orders and invoice approvals.
  • Collaborate with other Planners and Managers, Demand planners, Market Planners, Commercial & Shipping teams.
  • Proactively report supply chain risks e.g. low cover and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Align transfer orders to demand and send to ERP &/or local shipping system for execution
  • Review transfer order exceptions and cancel, close out, or decrease or orders where necessary
  • Monitor supply chain performance, review & support planning parameters and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Be accountable for achieving inventory targets
  • Support input to financial planning and forecasting processes
  • Supports Lifecycle Management e.g. New Product Launch, Phase in /Phase out etc.

Experience required:

  • At least 2 years of related experience
  • Demonstrable strategic level of operational and/or supply chain experience
  • Strong people skills and the ability to work effectively with people across many different functions
  • Outstanding communication skills required
  • Superior computer skills, particularly Excel, reading and creating reports and conducting analysis for business decisions
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking, influencing and change management skills
  • Knowledge of JDE and Rapid Response, or similar platform is desired
  • Indepth understanding of all aspects of endtoend supply chain and how we interact with other functions
  • Strong analytical, and problem solving, skills.
  • Embraces change, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvements to processes.
  • Ability to communicate across multiple levels of the organization, verbally (face to face and virtual) and written
  • Capable of analysing and solving problems through innovative thought
  • Drives results with urgency and accountability, possessing solid financial and business acumen
