Duties

  • Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
  • Follow food safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
  • Assist with dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen utensils and equipment
  • Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies
  • Preparing, plating and presenting dishes
  • Assist with basic food preparation
  • Breakfast, Lunch prep, light cooking.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Indian / Middle Eastern culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed


We are only able to accept applicants who have the right to work in the uk and live within a commutable distance to the location of the job role.

Working hours 8am-3pm 28hrs (4days) 3pm-10pm (3 evenings) 21hrs

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Salary:
£10.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: - 7 per week

  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Chorlton cum Hardy: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • Catering: 1 year (preferred)
