Assistant Store Manager at the LEGO Store Battersea Power Station SW11

The LEGO Brand Retail team is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to ensure that our brand, vision, and values shine through in all aspects of store operations and customer interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team by providing top-notch customer service consistently.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to exceed set targets and drive store performance to new heights.
  • Maintain merchandising standards to boost sales and meet Key Performance Indicators.
  • Assist the Store Manager in achieving excellent Mystery Shopper results and implementing improvement plans when necessary.
  • Foster a positive team culture that encourages a safe and enjoyable work environment.
  • Recruit new team members, identify training needs, and mentor sales associates and supervisors to ensure a cohesive and productive team.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a retail setting.
  • Demonstrated track record in a retail environment, preferably as an Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor.
  • Expertise in space management and visual merchandising.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Background in recruitment, training, and team development.
  • Financial acumen, including knowledge of loss prevention, cash handling, and scheduling.
  • Physical fitness to engage in various activities for extended periods.
