Our partnered company is seeking a new team member to join their commercial team. They specialize in building and civils projects across Southeast England.

  • Take charge of the financial aspects of construction projects from beginning to end.
  • Handle estimating, budgeting, cost planning, procurement, and contract agreements.
  • Develop and maintain project financial plans for consistent cost oversight.
  • Analyze project schedules and provide accurate financial predictions.
  • Manage financial requests to clients and negotiate terms with vendors.
  • Oversee valuations and final account settlements with clients and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide cost-related guidance.
  • Generate progress summaries, financial reports, and other documentation.
  • Evaluate project risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain communication with clients and engage with commercial counterparts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
  • Experience in Building refurbs, Railway, and Highways sectors.
  • Understanding of construction contracts, regulatory frameworks, and legal mandates.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and report writing.
