Project Details

A dynamic and ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor is sought by an independent engineering supply company in the South East England region.

Responsibilities And Duties

* Mastermind project budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to financial targets.
* Conduct life-cycle cost analyses, optimizing project costs throughout their lifecycle.
* Craft financial documents with precision and clarity.
* Submit and negotiate variation/compensation events, securing best value for the company.
* Sharpen your negotiation skills to secure favourable contract terms and resolve disputes effectively.
* Identify and manage commercial risks, safeguarding project profitability.

Desired Skills And Experience

* Minimum of 5 years in the engineering or construction industry.
* Proven experience in cost control, budgeting, and financial management.
* Experience in variation/compensation event management, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management software.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

* A BSc in Quantity Surveying or a degree in Cost Management or similar is preferred.
