The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Child First Banbury Nursery.
Child First Nursery Banbury is a private day care nursery situated in two of the most historic buildings in the heart of the town, and overlooking the famous Banbury Cross. The Nursery is conveniently located for both local residents and commuters alike, and our town centre location means we are able to take part in numerous local visits with the children.
Being at the heart of our community is really important to the nursery. Once a month we facilitate a Forest School near the children's play area for our two – five year olds at People's Park. Every other Thursday, we also love to visit the local care home – Highmarket House, meeting all the residents and having fun.
Our philosophy is that every child we care for deserves a calm, caring, safe and stimulating environment in which to learn.
Taking care of our staff's wellbeing is of prime importance to us and we are proud to have been voted the 14th best place to work in the whole of the UK.
Your roles and responsibilities will include;
You will be allocated a small group of children, and work alongside the room leader and the nursery practitioners You will be setting up the room and organising the daily activities, ensuring that they children are happy having fun To make sure that all the children's needs are met, you will undertake all aspects of personal care, including changing nappy's, and toileting You will be a good communicator as you will be liaising with parents, verbally daily giving feedback on how the day went, and twice a month you will be uploading photos for parents to seeBeing at the heart of our community is really important to the nursery. Requirements;
You must be able to gain a clear DBS GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desiredHours;
Child First Banbury Nursery are open from 07:30-18:00 Monday to Friday, all year round Your working hours would be between 12:00-18:00 across 5 days The successful candidate will be required to work between 30-40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussedBenefits;
