Looking for a new opportunity in Early Years education? Tradewind is searching for a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a school in Wigan, supporting the reception class.


  • Full-time position, 5 days a week starting in September.
  • Continuity for the academic year.
  • Daily pay rates ranging from £85 to £90.

As a teaching assistant, your role involves aiding the classroom teacher in establishing a positive and stimulating learning environment for young students. You will be contributing to lesson planning, delivering engaging classes, offering support to children with SEN, and assisting in classroom management.


The ideal candidate should have a solid background in early childhood education and a genuine interest in working with young learners.


  • NVQ level 2 qualification.
  • Previous experience with Early Years children.
  • SEN experience is beneficial.
  • Required background checks and the legal right to work in the UK are essential.
