Could you be a part of this team?

What you'll be responsible for:

  • To undertake food service duties in the staff kitchen and visitor restaurant and all other retail outlets
  • To assist in the patient and restaurant food production kitchen as directed by the management team (preparation, cooking and storing)
  • Assist in the service of food items as required
  • To prepare the patient meal service area with the necessary service equipment, cutlery, crockery meal trays, food etc. Portioning, plating and service of Patients Meals
  • To ensure that all food is served is of a high standard, mindful of portion control, meal content, correct temperatures, and food presentation
  • To assist with the safe and effective cleaning of meal service areas and equipment after service.
  • The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Experience in a catering or similar role
  • Excellent customer service
  • NHS experience desirable but not essential
  • Reliable and hard working
  • Food Safety Level 2
