We are looking for someone who is passionate and either already holds the assistant practitioner qualification or is willing to undertake training to acquire the qualification.

Please note if training is required to post will be band 3 until training is complete.

Day to day you will produce high quality mammograms, working without direct supervision whilst managing own workload. Provide excellent patient care and work effectively as part of a dedicated and professional team.

You will mammogram all types of patients that come through the breast unit, including screening on our 2 vans, participating in the mobile breast screening service on an as required basis at various sites across West Suffolk.

You will need to be passionate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and concentrate on tasks in a busy environment.

STAFF CAR PARKING


Staff Car Parking on the West Suffolk Hospital Site is eligible for individuals working outside of the core hours, 07:00 - 18:30.


For individuals working within the core hours, the Trust offers parking off site at the Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, which is serviced by a regular shuttle bus to and from the Hospital.
