Your new role

As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring, configuration, and development of security systems and network technologies that protect the company's assets.

Working with other members of the Security Operation Centre,you will be supporting the ongoing development of the automated threat intelligence system, and driving attack defence techniques.

You will also be responsible for following existing ITIL based processes and the timely resolution of security incidents, requestsand changes.


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will require at least 2 years previous experience working with Firewalls/NGFWs (Fortinet will be looked upon more favourably.)

Whilst having an exceptional working knowledge of Network Architecture and network Level 2 and 3 switches are essential for this position.

Strong knowledge of switches, routers, network technologies and protocols including IPSEC, VLANs, VRF, BGP, OSPF, FTP,SFTP, SSH, HTTP, DNS and SMTP
