A Day in the Life of a Senior Asset Operations Manager:
Senior Asset Operations Managers at AWE oversee a flexible, varied, and robust service across Aldermaston and Burghfield sites. They are tasked with managing assets within their appointed authority limits, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and performance reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily management of assets to meet Programme demands
- Promoting high standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality
- Coordinating services to meet operational requirements
- Owning safety justifications and facility budgets
- Managing facility emergency response arrangements
- Approving changes and ensuring adherence to processes
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in facility or process management
- Knowledge of Assets and Asset change
- Experience in a regulated environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Financial and commercial awareness
- Delivery of safety analysis and modern standards
- Participation in relevant meetings and forums
