What We Seek
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Programme Manager to join our dynamic team at Manchester Metropolitan University. This role entails overseeing the development and delivery of our digital Degree Apprenticeship programs, which include:
- Creative Digital Design Professional
- Digital & Technology Solutions Professional
- Digital & Technology Solutions Specialist
- User Experience (UX) Professional
You will lead a highly proactive team, collaborating with employers, apprentices, and academic colleagues. Managing the apprentice journey from application to graduation, emphasis is placed on relationship management and team leadership. Collaboration across departments and close engagement with employer partners are crucial for delivering industry-relevant qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with academic leaders and apprenticeship teams to ensure program quality and alignment with the University's objectives.
- Provide leadership and supervision to Skills Coaches, ensuring apprentice progress and compliance with standards.
- Plan and allocate resources for successful apprenticeship delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and represent the University professionally.
- Proven experience in project/program management within Higher or Further Education, with a focus on meeting deadlines and goals.
- Track record of team management and goal achievement.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating complex information and proposing practical solutions.
