Senior Office Admin role for a Fastener (Screw) Manufacturer in West Bromwich.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent administrative and organisational skills to take responsibility for administration & sales and ensure the smooth running of the office.

Your role will be to assist in ensuring that your areas of responsibility run effectively, efficiently, and profitably. Providing excellent communication and organisational skills that are required to drive the business forward.

This role would suit a self motivated individual with a passion for ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of a small office
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administration
  • Managing & improving systems
  • Invoice Processing
  • Invoice Queries
  • General administration duties to support the team
  • Prompt response to customer enquiries.
  • Accurate processing of sales orders & purchase orders
  • Logging customer quotations
  • Liaising between suppliers & customers to ensure the timely delivery of orders
  • Quoting Customers on jobs to maintain and win new business

Experience required:

  • Proven experience in office admin
  • Excellent organisation and time management experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to implement new office systems & ideas
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Experience in a sales based environment an advantage
A knowledge of fasteners would be advantageous, but training will be given.


You will need to be self-motivated, have strong organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written, to be able to communicate and build good relationships with both customers & suppliers.


You will need to be able to remain focused, have good all-around IT skills and be able to prioritise workload.


Job Type:

Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday 8.30am 4.30pm with 1 hour lunch break.
  • Friday 8.30am 3pm Friday with 1/2 hour lunch break.
  • No weekends
  • Salary paid monthly.

Salary negotiable based on experience
